About Plaut International
Our Story
1927
A timber product trading company, was first established by Mr Albert Plaut who began importing veneers and other timber materials.
1988
The current chairman, Eddie Lindenberg conducted a management buyout of the agency company and renamed it as ‘Albert Plaut Wood Agencies Limited’.
1998
From these foundations the company further developed into Plaut International Limited. With further range expansions being introduced at that time
2011
With further range expansions being introduced at that time; John Yates was appointed managing director and is continuing the further development of the company.
Present
We are currently sourcing products from around 50+ countries world wide, enjoying relationships with various trading partners for more than four decades.

We strongly recognise the importance in sourcing sustainable wood products, and the impact that this has on the environment and environmental issues.
